In depth

Verdict

Colorado Doc scored at this level at Plumpton last February but looked out of his depth when reappearing in December and was beaten 14 lengths when runner-up at Stratford. Havana Hermano won a Class 4 handicap at Uttoxeter in August but has been unable to cope with the subsequent weight rise. Siannes Star completed a double around this time two years ago and is now on a lower mark with conditions in his favour. Flaminger has been racing in much better company since scoring at Fontwell in October but the vote in a tricky little handicap goes to GO STEADY, and easy winner here in February and not disgraced from 9lb higher in a better race at Sandown.
