In depth

Verdict

Lord Sparky has won twice here in-between pulling up at Leicester and Market Rasen. He's also won over hurdles here so is an obvious contender. Mackie Dee, who won by 8 lengths here in November, is very closely matched with Carolie Bailey's charge as he was beaten less than 2 lengths last month and is 4lb better off. STYLISH DANCER has really found his form since stepping up in trip and could hardly have been more impressive at Warwick. An 11lb rise makes this tougher but a hat-trick beckons. Arthur's Reuben returned to form at Chepstow and though 7lb higher is still lower than his hurdles mark so looks the main threat.
