In depth
Verdict
Bay Island bids for a four-timer today and he looks very much a reformed character since his wind operation. The handicapper has had his say but on balance, he looks quite difficult to oppose and he is duly made the TEAMtalk selection. Fluff N Puff is another recent winner. He probably gained compensation for a series of creditable efforts at Ludlow but he was arguably a lucky winner on the day. Oddlydodd has been dropped by the handicapper after a couple of lacklustre efforts. He rates 8lb lower than his last winning mark and the market must be watched. Imago II rates as the main danger to our selection. He had always been held in high regard by Ferdy Murphy and ran well for a long way on his debut for Jonjo O'Neill before his race was curtailed by a blunder three-out.
