Verdict
A fairly decent claimer to begin events at Huntingdon although a number of these have become frustrating to follow of late. Top-weight, Supreme Fortune fits into this bracket having looked a decent prospect last year over two miles. He looks a shadow of his former self in this season and is best avoided here. Ferdy Murphy has been having a wretched time and Ernest William is his entrant in this contest. A useful chaser and hurdler on his day, this represents his first foray into the grade and he must be respected. Lord Sandrovitch comes into this race significantly better off than if it were a handicap. This is his first run over hurdles for two years but his novice form for Mark Pitman was decent and if there is any money for him, it has to be followed. Greenback and Governor Daniel tend to do their winning in this grade but this claimer looks a little hot for them today. The TEAMtalk pick is My Shenandoah. He is no spring chicken but providing any significant rainfall stays away, this eleven-year-old is at least consistent and should have no problems with the trip.
