In depth

Verdict

Time For Spring, a useful chaser on his day, looks one to be wary of at present. Shadarpour has also proved a risky proposition in the past and needed all of Jamie Moore's urgings to get home over 2m at Plumpton. Zafaraban is still a maiden and hasn't raced since July but a market move for the lightly-weighted Brians Well could be interesting with AP McCoy taking the reins. THORESBY won here in March and Daryl Jacob has ridden him to two of his three victories. He's only a pound higher than when successful at Towcester in May so shouldn't be far away.
