Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Point-to-point winner, RACING PULSE, made a winning racecourse debut in a bumper at Naas last month. He's since joined John Quinn and is taken to continue winning ways on his hurdling bow. Kilgefin Star failed to cope with a penalty at Kelso last time having won at the same track before that and the same comment applies to Hexham winner Revocation, well beaten in a couple of subsequent starts. Sir Mangan posted a better effort when runner-up at Wetherby last time and Straidnahanna can also get involved if improving on his recent fourth at Haydock. Mr Syntax has been placed over fences and could prove best of the rest.
