In depth

Verdict

A LITTLE BIT DUSTY finished well clear of the rest of the field when third at Leicester a week ago. He can return to winning ways with Conor Shoemark taking 5lb off his back in this. Honourable Gent failed to cope with a 5lb rise for winning at Kelso when only third on his latest outing. But he has the beating of Vodka Red, while Pindar's recent placed efforts have been in plating company and he'll find today's competition tougher. Stanley Bridge looked a future winner when going close at Cartmel back in May but has proved disappointing in three subsequent starts.
