Verdict
Leskinfere won this a year ago then returned a week later to complete a double from 8lb higher. He's been in poor form but is now 4lb lower than that last victory. Alright Chief won here on Boxing Day 2021 and was narrowly beaten at the track the following month. He's only had two subsequent starts and can make his presence felt. Bignorm stays well and is best in testing ground so should have conditions to suit while Spotty Dog gained his only victory to date over this track and trip and can't have been right at Chepstow last time. Earcomesbob reportedly broke a blood vessel in that former contest when starting favourite but ENDURING LOVE, three times a winner in Ireland, has been running well enough in similar company to see off this opposition.
