    Verdict

Canon Barney fell early on in the race won by Toulouse-Lautrec and Jonjo O'Neill's charge can make amends here, Cosi Celeste and Central Committee look to be the main dangers. The selection was quietly fancied for that Exeter event following an excellent third to Kelantan here the time before. He reverts to hurdles this afternoon and with ground and trip in his favour today he looks the one to be on. Cosi Celeste wasn't beaten far behind Lady Misprint at Fakenham last time and still looks on a decent mark, he should be vying for some place money. Central Committee hasn't sparkled recently but holds strong claims on his run behind Bekstar at Wincanton in October. Standing Bloom pulled up last time but is capable of challenging for the places on the pick of his previous form, but although Canon Barney may be running here for a confidence boost, he is well treated and gets the vote.
