In depth

Verdict

Armchair Farmer has been in consistently good form though is now 10lb higher than when last successful and wouldn’t want the ground any softer. Underfoot conditions are also a worry for Ernest Gray, who won at Doncaster earlier, while Grillon De Monty failed to complete having run well at Southwell before that. Lanspark is not out this in first-time cheekpieces but THE QUESTIONER (NAP) has won over fences since scoring over timber at Ascot in November and and a bold bid is expected from him.
