Verdict
Hardy Boy hit top form at this time last year and included this race in a double while Samtara finally won a race when successful over hurdles at Hereford under a 10lb conditional. But WILLIAM OF YORK is less exposed and having won at Wetherby when beating the re-opposing Sonnemoser, Dan Skelton’s charge gets the vote to defy a 4lb rise and go in again. The latter wasn’t beaten far and is preferred to Percy Willis of the rest.
