Verdict

A competitive bumper to end proceedings. Grosvenor Court was easy to back at Kempton last month but only found one too good. Lebowski has yet to finish out of the frame in three starts while Marble Sands was considered good enough to run in a Listed race at Ascot in December and wasn’t disgraced having won at the same track earlier. WASHINGTON won as he liked at Fakenham in the autumn and gives the impression he should be capable of holding his own in better company. Our Colossus, a full brother to a useful bumper, was second in an Irish point in December and is with the right yard to thrive under Rules while One Eye On Vegas also makes some appeal on breeding.
