In depth
Verdict
Dino Velvet hasn’t won for a long time and is ridden by an inexperienced claimer but Finalshot comes here off the back of a victory at Hexham when MAGIC MIKE was only third. The latter has five lengths to find and is no better off at the weights but Paul Robson’s charge improved on that first run over fences by beating a previous winner at Southwell and can reverse placings. Brian Hughes has come here solely to ride Master Malachy while No Risk With Lou should make a chaser having already won a point. Erigmoor placed twice over hurdles but Great Samourai is a more interesting newcomer to fences.
