    In depth

MYSTIC COURT posted a perfectly satisfactory hurdling debut when third at Kempton behind Vision Clear, beaten under four lengths with the remainder well beaten off. That level should be enough to see him get off the mark over timber here although he is also expected to progress from that first hurdling experience. Among those behind was Twist, but it's too early to write off the Henderson inmate, who has already scored for the yard on the level. Rukwa showed definite promise on debut and should be all the better for the run and Parisian Affair showed enough in bumpers to suggest she will have a future over timber.

Mystic Court (IRE) 12-1 (10-12) Led, driven and headed between last 2, ridden and one pace after last, no impression with front pair flat, 3rd of 9, 3 1/4l behind Vision Clear (10-8) at Kempton 2m (4) gd in May.

Rukwa (FR) 25-1 (11-2) Chased leader until before 2 out, soon outpaced, not fluent last, weakened flat, 4th of 9, 15l behind St Gallen (11-2) at Market Rasen 2m 1f mdn (4) gd in May.

Swilly Sunset 100-1 (11-2) Towards rear, struggling 5th, 7th of 9, dist behind St Gallen (11-2) at Market Rasen 2m 1f mdn (4) gd in May.

Twist (IRE) 7-1 (10-8) Raced keenly, tracked leaders, driven and lost place before 2 out, soon weakened, 7th of 9, 32l behind Vision Clear (10-8) at Kempton 2m (4) gd in May.

Universal Command 11-2 (10-8) Tracked leaders when veered badly right and unseated rider 1st, at Wincanton 1m 7f mdn (5) gf in May.

Parisian Affair 7-1 (10-2) Held up mid-division, headway over 2f out, kept on same pace, 4th of 9, 7 3/4l behind Roque It (11-2) at Huntingdon 2m (5) gd in Mar.
