In depth
Verdict
This looks a harder race than the one in which ALLTIMEGOLD scored with plenty in hand at Ffos Las a week ago but he's clearly in good heart at present and going the right way over fences. Charlie Price has created a good impression in a select number of rides this year and his claim offsets the penalty imposed for that recent Welsh success. Zoltan Varga has not been seen since August but has decent form in the book for this return to action, whilst Charlie Longsdon will hope that wind surgery has done the trick with Ortenzia after three successive disappointments. Extreme Appeal, in winning form on the Flat this year, is well worthy of consideration.
