In depth
Verdict
Not an inspiring contest, but something has to win. Churchtown Glen is only slow, but he is a safe conveyance and is a good ride for an amateur. Supreme Breeze has yet to win over fences, but even he cannot be left out of calculations in this, while chasing debutante Native Drum couldn't have been found an easier opening. Country Flyer may need this after a break and if that is the case this looks set to go the way of Ibn St James, who is relatively unexposed over fences, having just had the four outings to date. He showed at Fakenham that he was a well treated horse over fences as he was some 30lbs lower over fences than his last winning mark over hurdles. He is just 5lbs higher now and should be capable of seeing this lot off.
