Verdict
Bolitree Bob gets the vote over Pauntley Gofa and No Greater Love, while Lindsay needs to be watched until coming down the weights. Bolitree Bob has won over the course-and-distance before, and ran well in defeat at Wincanton three weeks ago when second to Surfboard. He goes well right-handed, and with in-form Tom Scudamore on board again, looks the answer. Pauntley Gofa meets the selection on 4lb better terms than when the pair met at Wincanton, but that is not enough for him to turn around a deficit of over 15-lengths. No Greater Love races from just a pound out of the handicap, and the five-year-old should be kept in mind for an imminent success as he was still going quite well at Uttoxeter when a blunder two out put paid to his chances. As stated, Lindsay appears to have too much weight and is best watched, with preference for Bolitree Bob.
