Verdict

Stage By Stage, Claude Greengrass and Tiger Frog are three against the field in a competitive opener and the narrow vote is given to Stage By Stage. The selection has been in the form of his life of late and won well last time out when defeating L'OrageLady and although he is rising in the weights he could still be ahead of the handicapper and is taken to win again. Claude Greengrass rates the main danger on his best form he was a fair fourth behind Galey River last time and is sure to be suited by the step up in trip. However he tends to find little off the bridal and for that reason he is opposed. Tiger Frog also won well last time out when beating Khaysar but that was over two miles and this longer trip may just find him out. Of the remainder Hernandita has dropped to a handy mark and is from a shrewd yard so is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to the improving Stage By Stage.
