Verdict
Farthing has shown promise in all three outings to date and looks capable of landing this modest contest, with Hillside Heather, and Procrastinate the likely dangers. Giles Bravery's filly looked in need of her debut but did well to finish runner up to Smiddy Hill. A disappointing effort at Sandown next time was followed by an excellent run at Bath when chasing home Arabian Dancer. If repeating that performance she will be difficult to beat. Hillside Heather showed up well in maidens before running well in numerous well contested handicaps, back in this company she should take a major role in the finish. Procrastinate has let supporters down on a few occasions this season, but has the ability to go close against this type of opposition. Waggledance ran his best race of the season when finishing second at Beverley last time and may be best of the others, but Farthing appears to have the best overall form and is given the nod.
