Verdict

Poet's Corner failed to improve on his Southwell fourth when down the field at Chepstow but fellow winning pointer Supreme Gift is interesting having found only one too good on his debut under Rules. Shuil Donn seemed to be getting the hang of things at Catterick but WATASHOCK’S third at Newcastle looks stronger form and Tristan Durrell takes off a handy 7lb here. Halondo makes most appeal of the newcomers being a half-brother to a winner on the Flat in France.
