Verdict
Songo has won four of his seven starts on the Flat so could be interesting of taking to hurdles but this may end up a straight match between Leroy Leroy and AJERO. The former easily won a Southwell maiden after a couple of seconds in novice company and is proving more consistent than on the Flat but Kim Bailey’s hurdling newcomer was an eye-catcher in a strong bumper at Thurles on his racecourse debut and is a half-brother to the stable’s Grade 2 winner Charbel.
