NO NO CARDINAL just failed to catch The Yank when 3lb out of the handicap at Newton Abbot 10 days ago. Racing off his correct mark here, Mark Gillard's charge is fancied to go one better. Glendermot could figure if fully wound-up but Lake Chapala has had his chances and looks worth opposing again. Norse Light has also proved expensive to follow while Keppel Isle weakened quickly at Worcester following his summer break.
