Verdict

Jim Dandy didn't really show any improvement on his second start when third again at Ludlow and may find HOLLYWOOD ROAD (NAP) too good here. Don Cantillon's gelding, who won twice over 1m2f on the Flat, made costly blunders on his first start over timber at Uttoxeter but should have learned from that and still finished well ahead of Canford Kilbey. Tasty Ginger was well beaten when second to Cliffs Of Dover at Kempton but holds Clive Clifton on that run. Neither Burnside nor Hammer Gun make much appeal on debut.
