In depth

Verdict

Bywell Beau gets the confident vote in this novices chase with Circassian and Open de L'Isle rating the main dangers. The selection was a good fourth behind Afsoun in a grade 2 hurdle last time out, retuns to fences in an easier race and need only put in a clear round to score. Circassian rates the main danger on his best form but he ran no sort of race last time and his stable are under a cloud so he can not be put forward with much confidence. Open de L'Isle was a good second behind Beggars Cap last time out, that horse has won again since and he has definite place claims but he is hard to win with. Cebonne has shaped with promise in the past but will be handicapped after this run and that is where his future may lie. The remainder have shown very little and are readily opposed and for the winner we return to Bywell Beau who is taken to make all.
