In depth

Verdict

Wyfield Rose had been in fine form before failing to complete at Newcastle while Rhymers Stone is upped a grade after winning over track and trip. Another Mattie has been raised 8lb for scoring at Ayr last month and Bennys King found Listed company too hot at Kempton last time but had won in this grade at Uttoxeter before that. MONBEG AQUADUDE is one of the least exposed and having won a maiden hurdle at Ffos Las recently - he gets the vote to go close again now handicapping for the first time. Aintree runner-up Tantamount is another to consider in an open-looking contest.
