      Verdict

      A rejuvenated BOURNE won for the third time this year when scoring at Carlisle last month with Landecker well beaten and Kris Cross failing to complete. The latter was still going well when slipping up on the bend but a conditional’s allowance reduces a rise in the weights for Donald McCain’s charge and he gets the vote to come out best again. Sevenballs Of Fire and Another Mattie were both well beaten in the same race at Ayr in April though the latter looks better handicapped on his return and could go well.
