Verdict

Not much separated Strong Economy and Chidswell at Carlisle and they meet on similar terms here. WESTSTREET ran in this race in 2019 but was pulled up after being badly hampered. He’s 10lb lower now and had previously shown his liking for a thorough test of stamina when winning over 4m at Hexham and over 3m6f in the Highland National at Kelso. Big River is also a proven stayer and a previous course winner and Innisfree Lad might enjoy this test. Amateur was generally progressive last season and has won over 3m4f while Do Not Disturb was second over 3m6f at Musselburgh when on a four-timer. Dino Boy is 9lb higher than when landing this last year but Almazhar Garde has a touch of class and ran well for second at Fontwell considering he burst a blood vessel.
