Mirage Dore gets the confident vote in the finale with Tartan Snow and Bollin Ruth rating the main dangers. The selection has won his last two races in good style, notably when beating Mill Side with plenty in hand. Granted he is rising in the weights but he again has conditions to suit and he is taken to defy the handicapper. Tartan Snow rates the main danger on his best form but he took a heavy fall last time out and it is hard to know if his confidence will have been affected, and at likely odds he is taken on. Bollin Ruth is game and consistent and is sure to run her race but she is hard to win with. Of the remainder Inch High hails from a yard in top form but has yet to win over this trip and with this in mind for the winner we return to the progressive Mirage Dore.
