In depth
Verdict
This could be a race for BOLLIN RUTH to come back from a poor showing last time and grab a second career victory ahead of Ormus and Mohayer while Coconut Beach could be representative of some value. The pick was well beaten here over a longer trip last time out having previously been consistently completive in the six previous starts. It could be that her mark was a little high for her but now back to a rating and trip much more to her liking she can score for the first time in two years receiving weight from most of her rivals. Ormus narrowly came out on top in his last starts and the assessor has responded with granting a seven pound rise. The form from the race is also looking weak and the career high rating does look a little too much. Mohayer has been high in the weights since winning in December 2006 and every time the rating threatened to come down he put in a really nice performance that lead to the mark increasing again. His performance last time out was again good and this time his mark has not been affect to his detriment. Coconut Beach could represent some value at the bottom of the weights and comes here on good terms after running well in a seller last time but in a competitive contest Bollin Ruth has the call.
