Captain Americo is a thorough stayer and ideally needs further than this while Markadam appears in the handicapper's grip at present, as does Carrigdhoun. Posh Bird hasn't been at her best for a while and The Magic Bishop has also disappointed recently and looks held by Rebel Swing on the form book. Quinder Spring was only beaten a short-head at Newcastle last time, but was well behind Knight Woodsman at Musselburgh in February. GENERAL HARDI has probably needed his two runs this year and, with the ground in his favour, looks poised to take advantage of a lenient mark in this.
