Verdict
Plenty of newcomers and lightly-raced sorts to focus on here and, as is usually the case in such contests, the market should point punters in something approaching the right direction. Holly James is an obvious one to note in the betting exchanges as Graham Lee returns to the National Hunt scene to ride on the Black Sam Bellamy gelding. Claret Dabbler has shown promise on both starts and his experience should serve him well but TORTUGA BAY impressed when landing her sole point and looked to have every chance until weakening late on when making her bumper debut - she's since had wind surgery and can reap the benefit. Rapid Raider landed his only point too and is definite short-list material on that evidence, having joined a strong yard for life under Rules.
