In depth
Verdict
A competitive little heat here with Glingerbank, Harry Flashman, Culcabock and Brave Vision looking to be the principals and the selection being Harry Flashman. Donald Whillans' charge just gets the nod on account of his propensity to act well on fast ground. He is still relatively lightly-raced, gets this trip well and has scored over course and distance, while he also looks fairly treated so with all that into the mix he has a winning chance. Glingerbank looks the biggest danger. Nicky Richards' runner arguably has even more scope for improvement, but he has yet to race on ground faster than good to soft, so we cannot suggest him until he proves he can handle this, but he is respected. Culcabock looks tripless and also needs a drop in the weights, but he can run into a place, while Brave Vision has to prove he stays and also seems to prefer cut in the ground, so our vote here goes to Harry Flashman.
