In depth

Verdict

Several possibles in a trappy finale but Running Moss has plenty in his favour and is the TEAMtalk selection to defy top weight. The son of Le Moss will relish the conditions and is a guaranteed stayer having landed a handicap over four miles here in testing conditions in March and remains fairly treated on a mark just 2lb higher. Chadswell is a consistent type in the main and is a confirmed mud lover so has to enter calculations on this return to the larger obstacles having scored over timber when last seen out in June. D J Flippance lost his way towards the end of last term but shaped nicely on his return over hurdles at Carlisle last month and rates a danger with conditions in his favour but Misty Rambler has to overcome a near eight month absence and may need the outing so is best watched.
