Verdict
Mel In Blue comes here fit and in form from recent form in point-to-points and is taken to make a winning return to rules racing and score at the main expense of Numero Un de Solzen and Getinbybutonlyjust. The last mentioned has won his last two starts but an 11lb rise for the latest of those successes at Ayr leaves the eight-year-old with more to do and he may be best watched this afternoon. The ex-Irish Ransboro has run creditably in two starts since joining the in-form yard of Nicky Richards but he may struggle to give weight away all round, while Whereareyounow was well held at Newcastle off today's mark last time and Brendan Powell's gelding may be best watched. Numero Un de Solzen is lightly raced and looks to be going the right way but Mel In Blue has plenty going for him and he is preferred.
