        Verdict

        Jenga lines up on the back of a recent win and can prove too smart for the likes of Rosie Redman and Boston Lass. Kim Bailey tends to do better with his chasers than hurdlers, so the fact that Jenga picked up wins over the smaller obstacles at Ludlow and Exeter last season was a bonus in itself. She needs soft ground and had the required conditions when scoring on her chase debut at Hereford just before Christmas. Jenga perhaps did not find as much as expected in the straight, but still plugged on gamely enough and with the experience under her belt, should prove hard to beat here. The handicapper will not do her many favours so Kim Bailey will try and find these sort of contests for the mare, and looks to have found the right opportunity here. Rosie Redman was a facile winner at Market Rasen on Boxing day but did not beat much and surely has it to do with the selection off level weights, while Boston Lass has a lengthy absence to overcome. Fields of Home could be interesting, given Howard Johnson's form this season, but she is best watched on her first outing, and with the rest looking nothing special, Jenga's journey to the Borders should pay off.
