Verdict

Point-to-point winner CLONDAW DRAFT made a promising start in a bumper at Bangor when runner-up to Karazhan. The latter has won twice subsequently and Donald McCain's charge is the one to beat on that form. Biggar has failed to threaten in either start but in better company than Caddells Row has faced so far and he could prove next best ahead of Magic Present. Chester Legend is a half-brother to winning hurdler and chaser Lenrey and is worth noting on his racecourse debut along with Taylor.
