Verdict
Damiens Dilemma was fourth in this in 2016 and third last year, ahead of Molten Brown but still beaten 30 lengths. The latter beat Shantou Magic at Mosshouses three weeks ago but hasn’t won under Rules in more than five years. For Yes was third at Hexham earlier this month but well beaten over track and trip earlier. DOUBLE WHAMMY is a dual course winner and had been absent for a year before running Creevytennant to a head at Perth 11 days ago. Kilbree Kid was seven lengths away in third and re-opposes on the same terms so looks held. Shimla Dawn may find this too far and Express Du Berlais looks to have plenty to find at the weights.
