Verdict

An open contest with the lightly-raced WALTZ DARLING taken to make a successful handicap bow after just the two runs over timber, most recently when landing a Musselburgh maiden hurdle. A fair handicapper on the Flat for Richard Fahey, the assessor has clearly taken no chances with the Reveley charge but most of his rivals are fully exposed and he's a chance worth taking despite a possibly harsh mark. All That Remains showed much-improved form when hunting up Full Speed at Newcastle last time and a repeat of that performance would put him bang in the frame here. He has, however, yet to score over timber. Lisbon delivered a fair effort here latest but Sam Lord has been hard to catch right this year, though is respected on his latest run when third behind Nicene Creed. Ben Akram and Stanley Bridge are others worthy of note.
