In depth
Verdict
Lucinda Russell has her string in good form at present but her representative Glenfarclas Boy has had chances already this term and preference is for Gangsters R Us, who gets the vote ahead of stablemate Behavingbadly. The selection lost no caste in defeat behind another Russell inmate Catch The Perk at Perth on his reappearance and, with improvement to come for the run, has solid claims off the same mark. Behavingbadly took advantage of a lenient mark when winning at Perth when last seen in April but is now 11lbs higher and comes here without a recent outing. Top weight Ballinclay King faces no easy task on his reappearance despite having been dropped further in the handicap and of more interest may be the novice Lord Saar and former hunter Primitive Way. However, Gangsters R Us sets a decent standard and will be tough to beat.
