In depth
Verdict
Godolphin have introduced several potentially top-class individuals sired by Dubai Millennium this season and it would seem harsh to go against the boys in blue as they send out My Dubai in the opener. Sunny Nature, Antoinette and Savoie are other locally-trained individuals that should be monitored closely in the betting, while Read Federica is also worth a solid mention as she looks the preferred runner from Sir Michael Stoute's yard. However, My Dubai has some very famous footprints to follow in and there will be a fair bit of expectation as she embarks on her racing career this afternoon. There are several precocious types in her pedigree and, although it is a little late in the season for a filly of her stature to be making her first start, it is safe to assume that Godolphin will have My Dubai primed for the task in hand.
