Verdict

The well drawn SUNLEY SPINALONGA has leading claims despite having to give weight away all round given that the majority of her rivals are struggling for form at present. David Elsworth's filly took eight attempts to open her account but then followed up under a fine ride from Ryan Moore at Sandown. She's been held twice since from her revised mark but Richard Hughes appeals as the right type of jockey to get the best out of her in a race that may not be as competitive as numbers suggest. Halyard looked likely to land a gamble at Windsor only to find less than expected for pressure and he's now tried in a visor, Big Wave Bay's best run of the season came here on his reappearance whilst Bizarrely is making steady progress.
