In depth
Verdict
Dansant can land this at the expense of Pivotal Answer and Strategic Mount. The selection was in winning form over a one and a quarter last timeout and should take this step up in trip with ease. He looks an improving type on paper having won three of his nine races and having proven himself in listed company last time out this looks within his grasp. Pivotal Answer will pose as the biggest danger as she has been placed in this grade of race before. She has showed in the past that she has the ability and being a month since her last outing she will come into the contest fresh. Strategic Mounts last win came in a handicap at the Shergar Cup meeting at Ascot in August. Since then he has completed in the Ebor and another valuable handicap at Sandown. He has to be a live contender in this winter contest so any support in the market should be noted, but for the winner we return to Dansant.
