        Verdict

        Lingfield winner Dougan went close to defying a 5lb rise when runner-up at Wolverhampton but has a further 4lb hike to contend with here. PLUCKY DIP makes more appeal on his second to the progressive Spring Loaded over track and trip last week when finishing just ahead of Yeeoow. John Ryan's charge gets the nod on that form while Hoofalong gives the impression he's slightly better over 5f nowadays and Harry Hurricane has recorded both wins so far over 7f. Mukaynis won over 6f at Haydock in September and returns to action off a 5lb higher mark.
