Verdict
Another tough race to call here for punters and again the market will be all important but the principals look to be Stronghold,Topiary Ted, Alamiyan and Shire and the tentative vote is given to Stronghold. The selection was sent off favourite when only third behind Chrysander last time out. However he is sure to have come on for that experience and under conditions that suit he is taken to score. Topiary Ted rates the main danger as he also showed plenty of promise when second behind Mordor but he just gave the impression he would be suited by a longer trip and for that reason he is opposed. Alamiyan also showed ability on his debut when sixth behind Watchalike and is sure to appreciate the step up in trip. Shire is a well-bred sort from a stable that can do no wrong at the moment and is another that should be monitored in the market. Of the remainder Baie des Flamands is another from a yard that is in-form but he may need a little more time and for the winner we return to Stronghold.
