In depth

Verdict

The Glancing Queen has won bumpers at Cheltenham and Aintree while Hatcher has won ten times under NH Rules. Galsworthy will be suited by this trip after showing potential over 7f and 1m2f and Frankie rides for John Gosden but the stable are also represented by SWIFT VERDICT. A son of Dubawi out of Irish 1000 Guineas winner Just The Judge, he cost a whopping E1.4m as a yearling and should be tuned up for this. Retrospect, another very expensive purchase and a son of Frankel, is closely related to Rip Van Winkle so is another newcomer to note. Jazz Party, who has a stout pedigree, will have found a mile too short at Lingfield in November.
