In depth

Verdict

Both Blaast and BEFORE DAWN found only one too good on their respective debuts. The former showed promise at Windsor but the latter beat a previous winner at Newmarket and Charlie Appleby’s filly may edge this. She’s preferred to the other Godolphin runners Wild Place and Golden Romance while Sunstrike was well beaten when fourth at Wolverhampton on her debut. Ardbraccan is a full sister to a winner and is entered in a Group 2 at the Curragh later in the month while the $330,000 purchase Safra and Dubai Jewel are others to note.
