        Verdict

        Bay Of Poets never threatened in soft ground at Haydock on his debut but improvement is expected here. But he needs to catch up with ELECTION DAY, who showed good progress to grab a place at Ayr last time and steps up in trip. Keepup Kevin is another likely to improve while the newcomers Harbour Rock and Melodic Motion share ownership for different trainers with the latter, a half-sister to a Group 2 winner, preferred. Desert Skyline and Caramuru are other debutants to note.
