Verdict
Course winner Power Game steps up in distance for his first start since April. But he’s conceding plenty of weight to LORD GEORGE (NAP) in this and the latter may prove good enough back on the all-weather having finished fourth at Newmarket for James Fanshawe’s in-form yard last time. Sennockian Star is usually thereabouts at this level but has not managed to win in a dozen starts this year and Blue Surf is preferred having returned to form with a narrow defeat at Sandown on his latest outing. The remainder are harder to fancy off their current marks and Glan Y Gors would also prefer further.
