          Verdict

          The choice is the consistent Glendale trained by Dean Ivory at Radlett and ridden by Jimmy Quinn.After a good third beaten just 3 lengths by Lord Of Dreams at Lingfield in March,the gelding was only just pipped by Scottish River at Wolverhampton last month. Stiff competition comes in the form of Dominic Ffrench Davis' Flying Pass ridden by Frankie Dettori,He ran Port 'N' Starboard to a head here last month and then finished 7 lengths behind Dinner Date on Monday and should go well. The John Akehurst trained Competitor enters calculations,ridden by Richard Quinn,a winner at Lingfield last month and then beaten just over 3 lengths by Turner's Touch here again,this 5 year old has every chance. But preference is for Glendale to get his head in front.
