Verdict

MISCHIEF MAGIC defied a penalty with a facile victory at Newmarket last time. The Godolphin colt has been done no favours by today’s draw but entries in the Mill Reef and Middle Park Stakes later in the month suggests there’s plenty more to come. Rogue Lightning is another likely improver having finished runner-up in Listed company at Newbury and that form gives him the beating of both New Definition and Believing while Rumstar won a decent handicap at Goodwood last time and Kyeema landed a nursery at York. Flag Flying made a winning debut at Goodwood and looks worth a try at this level.
